My beginnings
My career started in 2013 as an apprentice broker for a real estate broker's team. I decided to work at one of the biggest agencies in the industry to gain knowledge and get a grasp of the market. Alongside, I managed to study Entrepreneurship at JMSB (Concordia University) to acquire superior education in creating and managing businesses.
My observation
At the beginning, the typical salesperson image driven by the commission amount rather than the quality of work, the infamous charlatanic speeches, and the outdated high-pressure sales techniques seemed to me as unatractive approaches. With time, I discovered other approaches that were far more appealing and which some competitors seemed to have overlooked. In fact, in a digital era where consumers are well-informed, educated, and decisive, a rejuvenation of real estate brokerage services was necessary to adapt to the current market.
